KASK ZENITH Arc Flash 1 and 2

Arc Flash visors are an essential safety item for electrical workers to provide protection from potential arc flash hazards. Both models of the KASK Arc Flash Visor are designed to fit the Australian Standards certified Zenith safety helmet. Visors individually supplied with protective bags.  

ARC FLASH 1 VISOR

When fitted to the Zenith helmet, the Arc Flash 1 Visor enables the wearer to work at, or in the vicinity of live parts. The Arc Flash 1 visor offers a high arc protection against thermal hazards and is suitable for use at electrical installations with a higher short-circut energy (up to WLBP = 168 kJ according to a risk assessment pursuant to German BGI/GUV-I 5188)

ARCH FLASH 2 VISOR

When used in conjunction with the Zenith safety helmet, the Arc Flash 2 visor allows the user to work at, or in the vicinity of live parts at electrical installations with a higher short-ciruit energy (up to WLBP = 320 kJ according to risk assessment pursuant to German BGI/GUV-I 203-077) and according to the guidelines IEEE 1584 and NFPA 70E.
