Break-Away Tool Lanyard
The Ferno Break-Away Tool Lanyard has is designed with a safety feature which enables the lanyard to withstand as well as release from static and impact force.
If a tool is dropped or caught in moving machinery, the tool lanyard’ s specially designed weak link severs and releases the tool. This safety feature reduces the risk of the worker being harmed or pulled into the machinery.

Safe Spring Hook
The Safe Spring Hook is a coiled, plastic coated stainless wire tool lanyard. The coiled wire extends from 430 mm to 1600 mm and when correctly attached, prevents tools accidentally falling. This popular tool lanyard is supplied with various attachments for varying tools configurations and has a 5 kg load weight.

Tool Retention Safety System
The Tool Retention Safety System attaches to a harness via a belt slot and houses a 1.25 m retractable nylon cord with a quick connect buckle to attach to tools and gear to prevent accidental droppage.

Tool Strops
Ferno offer standard tool strops (tool lanyards) as well as elasticised and tearaway versions.
The tearaway strop is constructed with a safety strap that is designed to absorb the force or shock load of a chainsaw. The safety strap will begin to tear when approximately 30 kg or greater of force is applied. Tool strops/lanyards are also available in an elasticised version that reduces the length of the strop.
