Special Operation Forces Litter (SOF-L)

The SOF-L Litter is optimum for every platform, deploys in seconds and represents the future of tactical evacuation. It is durable and repairable with a low effective life-cycle cost.
The SOF-L is infinitely sustainable. All components of the litter frame including bed covers, handles, frame sections and patient restraintsare are replaceable while in the field using just a Phillips head screwdriver. Deployed units can utilise a parts cache or cannibalise one litter to keep the remainder of the inventory in service.

SX Surface Xtender
When attached to a Ferno® iNX Integrated Patient Transport & Loading System™ or Power-X, the Surface Xtender extends the width of the patient surface to accommodate a large patient.
The panels adjust between five locked positions at approximately 15° intervals, plus an unlocked, lowered position. The unlocked position allows the SX to be positioned out of the way for patient transfer between the iN/X, Power-X and another surface and does not interfere with loading and unloading.
The SX is not designed to carry the weight of the patient or as a transfer aide.

Teufelberger Vulcanus
VULCANUS is a heat resistant rope from Teufelberger and certified to EN 1891A. This rescue rope consists of a polyamide core and an aramid cover. Unlike polyester and polyamide, aramids are highly heat resistant with these fibres exhibiting excellent strength and only slight elongation at break.
Vulcanus features increased resistance to cutting and abrasion making it suited for use as a work rope or work positioning rope and equally well suited for work activities near heat sources and sharp edges. Its heat resistance enables Vulcanus rope to handle several fast abseiling procedures in rapid succession with ease making it well suited for special intervention units, emergency response and rescue operations.

The ECO-Run Module
The ECO-Run (ECO) module puts you in control of your fleet’s fuel consumption and carbon footprint.
ECO-Run monitors vehicle system voltage and occupant compartment temperature, and automatically cycles the engine off and on during vehicle idle. The ECO-Run idle-reduction cycle can reduce vehicle idle times by up to 40% – effectively lowering fuel consumption, carbon emissions and general wear on your vehicle’s engine.
When ECO-Run is engaged, the ignition key may be removed and the vehicle locked leaving the module to run in Anti-Theft mode.
Stop unwanted idling with ECO-Run. The module allows your vehicle to shut down while idling even when:- Emergency and scene lights are on
- The air conditioner is running
- The vehicle is on-scene or at post
The vehicle will restart according to pre-programmed criteria such as when the battery voltage drops below a threshold or when the passenger compartment temperature gets too hot or cold.

The ECU Module (Electronic Control Unit)
The ECU module interconnects vehicle electronics through the CAN-Bus to provide exceptional monitoring and customisable control of all vehicle electronics.
