Ferno Challenge Pro Series
Challenge Pro Standard (VHI CHG PRO)
The Challenge Pro’s universal design makes it suitable for various applications including industrial height safety, EWPs, confined space, rope access work, general rescue and high rope activities.
There are four models in the Challenge Pro Series:
- Standard
- Standard Kevlar
- Challenge Pro with PFD
- Challenge Pro Kevlar with PFD.
All models feature:

Challenge Pro with Integrated PFD (VHI CHG PRO PFD)
This model provides options for anyone working over or near water including wharf workers, stevedores, air sea rescue, shipping and oil rigs. It is also a great harness for any water activities.
The Challenge Pro PFD is supplied with a separate CO2 cartridge that should be installed immediately. CO2 cartridges are deemed dangerous freight items and prevent the Challenge Pro PFD being airfreighted for delivery.
Challenge Pro Kevlar (VHI CHG PROK)
A third model – the Challenge Pro Kevlar – is made from industry leading flame retardant and cut resistant materials that provide additional safety options for welders or hot work applications. Certified to AS/NZS 1891.1:2007.
The Challenge Pro Kevlar is also available with an optional, integrated, flame retardant AS/NZS 4758.1-2008 certified PFD (VHI CHG PROK PFD).

Ferno Eagle Nest Bipod / Tripod
The Ferno Eagle Nest system is an extremely lightweight, versatile and multipurpose tripod / bipod made from high grade Ti-3AI-2.5V titanium. The rescue system was designed in collaboration with leading European Remote Rescue specialists and is intended to store compactly in backpacks for portable transfer to the rescue scene.
Each Eagle Nest bipod or tripod is supplied as standard with a customised transport bag / backpack measuring 1400 x 400 x 200 mm. The system is easy to assemble and disassemble in the field including conversion from a bipod to tripod configuration. The tripod is highly stabale and provides a large working area due to its wide footprint and self-adjusting ball-joint feet which suit any surface.
- Eagle Nest 2 (Bipod) packs down to a lightweight 16.8 kg or 19.6 kg including the supplied transport bag
- Eagle Nest 3 (Tripod) weighs 25.4 kg and is supplied with two Eagle Nest Transport Bags so tripod components may be divided and the load shared amongst the rescue team.

Ferno Flashpoint Sit Harness
The Ferno Flashpoint Sit Harness has been a favourite of State Emergency Services in Australia for many years.It is an extremely strong, lightweight and comfortable harness to hang in. This is due to its extra thigh/sit strap that spreads the load more evenly across the body, reducing the strain on the leg straps and waist belt. The twin belay loops provide strength and orientates the descender in line with the body, instead of at right angles.
The Ferno Flashpoint Sit Harness can also be combined with a chest harness to provide extra support and security. One size fits all.

Ferno Industrial Daisy Chain
